My yoga practice began when my mom gave me a book when I was about 9 years old. I really, really liked the meditation at the end of each day.
I practice yoga now because of the strength and gentleness it brings in my life. The most rewarding thing about being a teacher is when students “get it”
The best thing about teacher training is introducing people to Yin Yoga; many have never done it; and then they can’t live without it.
I think the biggest challenge for yoga teachers is making a living in the beginning.
As for the future of yoga, I hope everyone will have some kind of yoga practice so the world will definitely be more gentle and compassionate.
My advice for students considering teaching or deepening their practice, my advice is to practice, practice, practice. 99% practice, 1% theory and become Vegan.
