I began practicing yoga because I have always been a very tight person and my Muay Thai practice didn’t help with my flexibility, so I decided to give it a try.
I practice yoga now because it helps me connect my mind with my body, de-stressing the body.
The most rewarding thing about being a teacher trainer is seeing my students applying what they learned on their practices and hopefully using the skills in their future Yoga teaching career.
I think the biggest challenge for a yoga teacher is taming the mind, so that we don’t push ourselves too far, too fast.
In the future, I hope yoga becomes a regular practice for everyone so people can connect the mind with the body.
For students considering teaching or deepening their practice, I advise them to do some research and see which schools/styles of Yoga suite them best.
